Poetry Day

21 January was a great day for the library, guests and patrons, as it hosted its first event for 2022. The poetry day was to celebrate Poetry and culture in Zimbabwe. It was a free entry event where everyone was invited and the poets ranged from different age groups. The poetry day was a success as the poets managed to give the audience their best performance. Harare City Library would like to thank the guest speaker Mr Lawrence Makwala who represented the board of trustees for Harare City Library, Shona language expert and award winning novelist Ignatius Mabasa as the guest of honour, Mambo Guramatunhu as the guest presenter and those who came.
